全國大專生稅務徵文比賽2022 「全國大專生稅務徵文比賽2022」由香港稅務學會舉辦，目的是讓會計專業、財稅專業及商學院學生通過學術研究及理論分析三地稅收政策，多角度全面探討粵港澳大灣區發展等稅務議題，以及促進對於稅務上的思考和實踐進行交流和分享。希望藉此次徵文比賽，啟發其對稅務專業以至將來投身稅務行業的興趣，為日後投身社會工作做好準備。 今年，學會將會邀請全國的大專本科生和研究生參加徵文比賽，參賽學生可以個人作賽或以團隊形式自由組成不多於四名學生參賽。比賽形式為自行擬訂一個題目進行稅務政策分析，撰寫一篇不少於8,000字的論文，根據成績決定冠、亞、季名次。是次比賽獎品十分豐富，包括現金獎及豁免特許稅務師專業資格考試之費用。學會將邀請各界精英，包括商界、稅務專才、專業團體代表及學者擔任評判團，為比賽提供專業意見及客觀評論。 報名方法： 香港及澳門學生請登入https://form.jotform.com/221250906030441填妥報名表 內地學生請登入https://www.wjx.top/vm/hMkuj4N.aspx填妥報名表      ...

[Important Announcement] CIOT licenses SAIT to award Chartered Tax Adviser status

  The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) has announced that it has licensed the South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) to grant the designation 'Chartered Tax Adviser' to its members as the next step in developing the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) brand as a leading international standard in tax. This follows the granting of the same right to the Irish Tax Institute (ITI) and The Tax Institute (TTI) in Australia in 2012, and the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK) in 2020. Under the agreement, qualifying members of SAIT will be able to transition to Chartered Tax Adviser status, joining the existing 19,600 CIOT members, 5,800 TTI members, more than 5,500 ITI members and more than 1,600 TIHK members who can already call themselves Chartered Tax Advisers.   Terms and Guidelines Any current member of the Institute (Affiliate, Associate and Fellow) could be the “Referrer Member”; “New Member” is a person that has never been admitted as member to the Institute (e.g. member that has resigned from the Institute for whatever reasons and re-admitted will not be considered as “New Member” in this context) Graduate passing the relevant examinations set by the Institute and admitted as member is not “New Member” under this referral program; A “Referrer Member” is entitled to a reduction of HK$500 in 2023 annual subscription fee by referring a “New Member” to join the Institute from now to 31 May 2022. The “New Member” is also entitled to CPD e-coupons with total value at HK$500. The maximum number of referrals with annual subscription fee reduction is 2, i.e., a “Referrer Member” could be entitled to up to HK$1,000 reduction in 2023 annual subscription fee. 自2021年1月19日國家稅務局發佈了《港澳涉稅專業人士在中國（廣東）自由貿易試驗區深圳前海蛇口片區執業管理暫行辦法》（以下簡稱《辦法》），全面放寬港澳涉稅專業人士執業要求，包括取消資格考試，並改為執業登記；拓寬服務區域，放寬服務範圍，取消執業年齡、合夥人資質、內地執業時間限制等，大大為香港稅務師和澳門會計師跨境執業提供了便利。 在向深圳市稅務局遞交《港澳涉稅專業服務人員執業登記表》前，香港稅務師必先要取得本學會出具的推薦函，以茲證明申請人連續3年從事涉稅專業的實際工作經驗而且最近3年未因執業行為不當受到所在地區主管部門行政處罰或行業懲戒。香港稅務學會（The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong）是獲授權在香港辦理和出具推薦函的唯一機構。 截至12月16日，學會已出具超過50份推薦函，而當中已46名香港稅務師成功獲得跨境執業資格。在取得跨境執業資格後，更有稅務師成功在深圳發起設立稅務師事務所，當中5間已完成了行政登記，可於前海正式執業，開展稅務服務。其中1間更是由港深澳三地稅務師共同設立的稅務師事務所。 有關申請香港稅務學會推薦函以便進行跨境執業登記的詳情，請瀏覽學會網站。 申請資格及條件: https://www.tihk.org.hk/cross-border-practising.../ 下載申請表格: https://www.tihk.org.hk/cross-border-practising-guidance.../ 如有任何查詢，歡迎聯絡香港稅務學會秘書處︰ 電話 2810 0438 電郵 tihkadm@tihk.org.hk ...
