Description

Please be reminded that this is an e-seminar which can be accessed anytime to obtain the CPD hours.

Hong Kong has been a popular venue for the arbitration of commercial disputes arising from international business and investment in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other parts of the world. The popularity of commercial arbitration in Hong Kong is attributed to, inter alia, the Hong Kong Judiciary’s “pro-arbitration stance”, its unique status of a bilingual common law jurisdiction and the various judicial assistance with courts in Mainland China.

With a view to enable TIHK’s members to understand the benefits of commercial arbitration, in the context of tax or other commercial disputes, this webinar aims to give members an introductory overview of Hong Kong arbitration law and the recent developments, as well as case studies together with practical guidance with respect to resolving business and tax-related disputes through arbitration in Hong Kong and across the borders.

Takeaway points to be delivered in the webinar:

No CPD hours will be granted if you have already attended the live webinar on 21 February 2022.
