Speaker Profile

Kathy Kun is a Director of PwC National Tax Policy Services in Hong Kong. She has over 15 years of experience in Hong Kong and international taxation. She is responsible for authoring the firm’s tax publications and preparing written submissions to the HKSAR Government or the Legislative Council expressing the firm’s views or recommendations on Hong Kong’s tax legislative proposals or policies. She also provides technical support to client service teams. She is a frequent speaker at tax seminars and workshops. Kathy is a member of the Tax Policy Committee of the TIHK and also serves as the Vice Chairman of the technical committee of the Asia-Oceania Tax Consultants’ Association.

Tommy Hui is a senior manager of PwC Hong Kong’s corporate tax practice engaged in serving clients within the technology, media and telecommunications sectors.  He has extensive knowledge in advising clients in matters ranging from internal restructuring, divestment, due diligence, and blockchain / crypto-related projects.  He is also experienced in international tax and as one of the project managers in the PwC Crypto team.  Within the team’s capacity, he has been involved in various PwC publications regarding blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
