The Inland Revenue Department (“IRD”) has just issued the updated “Tax guide for charitable institutions and trusts of a public character” today.  In addition to setting out the IRD’s views on common contentious issues faced by charities, the guide provided further clarification on the IRD views on some of issues arises such as the non-compliance penalty issues.

In this seminar, we shall highlight the salient points in the IRD’s new revised charity tax guide, share our experience in helping charities resolving the IRD’s reviews, and provide some tips on common tax problems faced by charities.
