By the end of the nomination withdrawal period, twelve nominees remain as candidates of the Election. An election is now conducted by postal ballot.

Important notes:
- Details of the postal ballot have been sent individually to electors on 13 August 2021. You should receive a set of Voting Paper, Reply Slip, Ballot Envelope, Return Envelope and the supplementary information of the candidates.
- If you have not received the ballot by Wednesday, 18 August 2021, or any of the above-mentioned materials is missing, please contact the Secretariat.
- Before casting your vote, you are strongly advised to read the “Rules and Procedures for Voting by Ballot” on the overleaf of the Voting Paper.
- The completed Voting Paper, duly sealed up in accordance with the directions printed thereon, should be delivered to “The Scrutineers, c/o the Secretariat”, by 5:30 p.m., Friday, 27 August 2021.
- For members who are outside Hong Kong and wish to cast your vote, please contact the Secretariat for special voting arrangement.
- The election result will be announced at the 49th Annual General Meeting to be held on 3 September 2021. Please refer to the Notice of Meeting for details, or visit tihk.org.hk/49agm.
