
Mr Nicholas Cook, Counsel, Tiang & Partners Hong Kong
Nicholas is a Hong Kong solicitor, and counsel of Tiang & Partners with over a decade of experience in corporate and commercial legal matters. Tiang & Partners is an independent Hong Kong law firm that works closely with PwC.
Nicholas specialises in acting for clients in respect of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and international business reorganisations (IBR) solvent group restructurings, with a focus on matters in the Greater China and APAC regions.
Nicholas serves as co-chair of PwC’s Global IBR Emerging Leaders Network, tasked with improving the integration and collaboration of IBR within PwC. He presents regularly in the course of this role.
Prior to joining Tiang & Partners, Nicholas worked at Mayer Brown JSM for 9 years. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge, as well as a PCLL from the University of Hong Kong. He also holds a Master of Chinese Studies degree, jointly awarded by the University of Edinburgh and University of Glasgow. He is an examiner for the commercial and company law paper of the Hong Kong Overseas Lawyer Qualification Examination (OLQE).
