| TIHK Supporting Event – HKMU IIBG Academia-Industry Exchange 2022 | 9 November, 2022 |
The IIBG Academia-Industry Exchange 2022 will be held on 2 December 2022 at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU). This year’s event will be held in the format of a symposium in hybrid mode, comprising keynote sessions and panel discussions, which bring together industry leaders and experts to share their perspectives on business sustainability.

| 「全國大專生稅務徵文比賽2022」賽果公佈 | 4 November, 2022 |
由香港稅務學會舉辦的「全國大專生稅務徵文比賽2022」正式完滿結束．七十二隊來自香港、中國內地及澳門各大專院校的會計專業、財稅專業、法律學或商學商科的本科生及研究生報名參加。在是此比賽中，參賽學生需自行擬訂一個題目進行稅務政策分析，用多角度全面探討粵港澳大灣區發展等稅務議題。
評委團由來自稅務、商界、學界及其他專業領域所組成，進行了不記名閱卷評審，現在已從中選出冠、亞、季軍及優異獎。而獲獎的隊伍為：

| Relocation of Inland Revenue Department and the Exhibition | 31 October, 2022 |
The Inland Revenue Centre, a new dedicated building for the Inland Revenue Department, will be open for use in late 2022. A majority of the offices of Units/Sections of the Inland Revenue Department will be relocated to the new building by phases by late 2022/early 2023.
Besides, to mark the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of HKSAR as well as the 75th Anniversary of the Inland Revenue Department, an exhibition with the theme of “Past and Future” will be held from 19 December 2022 to 31 January 2023 on G/F of Inland Revenue Centre. Through this exhibition, visitors can tour around the past, present and future of the Inland Revenue Department. All Members of the public are welcome to the exhibition.

The Institute is pleased to announce the new President, Vice-Presidents, Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary of the Institute for the 2022/23 have been elected at the first Council Meeting 2022/23 which was held immediately after the 50th Annual General Meeting on 2 September 2022.
The Institute would like to take this opportunity to thank those retired Council Members for their valuable services and contribution to the development of the Institute in the past year, and congratulate the President, Vice-Presidents and the Honorary Officers for being elected/re-elected.
The Institute also counts on your continued support for its future development.

Year 2022 is TIHK’s Golden Jubilee, which represents a remarkable milestone to tax profession for its half-century contribution and development in Hong Kong. The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong 50th Anniversary Cup Race and member dinner to be held at Happy Valley on 28 September 2022, members are encouraged to join the celebration with the Institute.
The Dinner will be an International Buffet with unlimited servings of pouring brand of spirits, house wines, beers, mineral water, soft drinks and orange juice.
